Here at Draxalon Quinthos Architecture, we're not just about building spaces that work for people - we're also serious about protecting the folks who trust us with their information. This privacy policy isn't gonna be full of legal jargon that'll put you to sleep. We'll break down exactly what we collect, why we need it, and what we do with it.
Running an architecture firm means we sometimes need personal details to do our job right - whether that's designing your dream home or consulting on a major commercial project. But we take that responsibility seriously and follow all Canadian privacy laws, including PIPEDA.
We're pretty straightforward about this stuff. When you reach out to us or work with us, here's what we might ask for:
We're not in the business of hoarding data for no reason. Everything we collect has a purpose tied to providing you with excellent architectural services:
Obviously, we need your contact info to get back to you about consultations, project updates, design revisions, and all that good stuff. Can't really collaborate on building design without being able to reach you.
Your project details help us create designs that actually work for your needs. Site info, budget considerations, aesthetic preferences - that's all critical to delivering what you're looking for.
Contracts, invoicing, permits, regulatory compliance - there's a lot of paperwork in architecture. We keep records because we legally have to, and frankly, it protects both of us.
We look at website analytics to figure out what info people need, which services are most popular, and where we can make things easier for potential clients.
Under Canadian law, you've got some solid rights when it comes to your personal information. Here's what you can do:
You can ask us what personal info we have about you. We'll give you a copy within 30 days.
If something's wrong or outdated, let us know and we'll fix it right away.
Want us to delete your data? We'll do it, unless we're legally required to keep it (like for tax or project liability reasons).
Don't wanna hear from us about new services or projects? Just click unsubscribe or let us know.
To exercise any of these rights, just shoot us an email at info@draxalonquinthos.info or give us a call. We'll get back to you quickly.
We take security pretty seriously - it's kinda like how we approach sustainable building. Multiple layers of protection, redundant systems, always thinking ahead.
All data we collect is stored on secure servers with encryption. Our staff only access what they need for their specific role. We use secure file transfer protocols when sharing project documents. Physical documents are locked up when not in use.
That said, nothing's 100% foolproof - no security system is. We do our absolute best, but if there's ever a breach, we'll let you know ASAP and explain what happened and what we're doing about it.
We don't keep your information forever - that'd be weird and unnecessary. Here's the general breakdown:
Our services aren't directed at anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from minors. If you're a parent and think your kid has given us their info, let us know and we'll delete it right away.
Laws change, technology evolves, and sometimes we need to update our practices. If we make any significant changes to this privacy policy, we'll post the updated version here and note the date at the top. For major changes, we'll also send an email to our active clients.
It's worth checking back occasionally to see if anything's changed - especially if it's been a while since you last looked.
Look, privacy policies can be confusing. If something doesn't make sense or you've got questions about how we handle your information, just reach out. We're happy to explain things in plain English.

If you're not satisfied with how we've handled a privacy concern, you can also file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. But honestly, we'd prefer if you gave us a chance to make things right first.
